GOLDLAW Chief Legal Officer Spencer T. Kuvin is representing two women identified as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 in a newly filed federal civil lawsuit naming former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz, former Seminole County Tax Collector Joel Greenberg, and several other defendants.
The lawsuit alleges civil sex trafficking violations and other misconduct stemming from events dating back several years. The allegations are claims made by the plaintiffs and have not been proven in court.
Spencer Kuvin Speaks With WPTV
Following the filing, Kuvin spoke with WPTV’s Ashley Glass about the complaint and the evidence the plaintiffs’ legal team says supports their allegations.
Kuvin explained that the complaint was intentionally detailed to provide the court with what the plaintiffs describe as the broader scope of the alleged conduct. He also discussed text messages and other communications cited by the plaintiffs as part of their case.
Gaetz has denied wrongdoing and told WPTV that he looks forward to responding to the allegations through the litigation process.
