The Christian FM 5th Annual Back-to-School Expo
Sponsored for the second consecutive year by GOLDLAW, was an overwhelming success!
“The event was a great way for kids and families in the Port St. Lucie community to prepare for the upcoming school year,” said GOLDLAW Community Relations Manager Brianna Biddiscombe, “and the GOLDLAW staff was happy to contribute to such a fun event.”
More than 2,000 people attended the Expo that took place on Saturday, August 5, at the MidFlorida Credit Event Center in Port St. Lucie. The first 200 families attending received a backpack for school filled with supplies and park passes, and no one went home empty-handed. GOLDLAW provided tons of swag, including a branded coloring book and crayons, which was a hit among young visitors.
The all-day community get-together included food vendors and live entertainment on stage, including local dance troupes, cheer teams, tumbling squads and martial artists. GOLDLAW was well represented with eight staff members on hand, who interacted with expo attendees, distributed swag, and answered questions.

Gerald Arroyo, GOLDLAW’s Employee Experience Coordinator was ecstatic about employee support.
“The great thing about our staff is that they always answer the call when we need volunteer help at events,” said Arroyo. “We had team members from as far away as Wellington and West Palm Beach make the trip to Port St. Lucie to help out. GOLDLAW has an awesome team with a phenomenal work ethic. This is just another great example of how our employees support the causes and communities the firm aligns with.”
