Michael Wasserman: From Trial Consultant to Personal Injury Lawyer
After graduating from the Tulane University School of Law, Michael Wasserman began his career as a trial consultant before moving to courtroom as a Public Defender in Tallahassee and Miami for almost a decade, representing indigent clients from first appearance right through the jury trial. Like many personal injury lawyers, Michael Wasserman spent time working for the insurance companies, litigating cases involving tort defense, first party property damages, and employment discrimination. He also spent time as a criminal defense attorney, having taken part in over 50 jury trials and 100 trials in total. However, Michael Wasserman ultimately decided to transition to personal injury law, so he could use his world class litigation skills defending injured plaintiffs.
Having spent nearly the entirety of his 25+ year legal career as a trial attorney.
Michael Wasserman brings decades of experience litigating complex personal injury cases to LOCG. He’s tried and won case for his clients involving automobile accident injuries, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse & neglect, and wrongful death.

- In addition to his legal work, Michael Wasserman served as the former Chairman of the Lawyer Referral Services Committee for the Florida Bar, and serves n several community and legal-focused non-profits and associations.
- He has dedicated many hours mentoring law students through the Kozyak Minority Mentoring Foundation, and has participated in pro bono programs across Dade County.
