Spencer T. Kuvin Accepted into ABOTA: A Milestone Achievement
GOLDLAW – The Law Offices of Craig Goldenfarb, P.A., is proud to announce that Chief Legal Officer Spencer T. Kuvin has been accepted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
Founded more than 50 years ago, acceptance into ABOTA is among the highest honors trial lawyers can aspire to obtain. Members are dedicated to the preservation of the 7th Amendment right to civil trial by jury, the promotion of civility and professionalism among members of the bar, and the protection of an independent judiciary nationwide.
Membership to ABOTA is by invitation only. It requires a lengthy application process that can take more than a year. To be considered as a Trial Advocate, an applicant must meet the following criteria:
-
Shall have at least eight (8) years of active experience as a trial lawyer and as a member of the Bar of the state in which they practices in.
-
Shall have tried a minimum of fifty (50) civil jury trials to a jury verdict or hung jury as lead counsel.
About ABOTA
The American Board of Trial Advocates is in the forefront of promoting the legal profession and independence of the judicial branch. ABOTA runs a host of programs designed to fill the growing gap in education and understanding about the judiciary, and to serve as a reminder us why a strong and independent third branch, anchored by a jury of citizens, is essential to maintaining liberty and democracy.
ABOTA membership consists of only about 7,300 lawyers and judges in the U.S. (only about 700 in Florida) – equally balanced between plaintiff and defense, spread among 96 chapters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
“GOLDLAW is thrilled Spencer has been accepted into ABOTA. This invitation-only honor reflects his exceptional trial skills, unwavering commitment to the legal profession, and his outstanding record of success in the courtroom,” said GOLDLAW Founder/CEO Craig Goldenfarb. “ABOTA recognizes only the most elite trial lawyers. Congratulations to Spencer! We’re excited to have such a renowned legal advocate leading our legal team.”
