Heart of the Game raises $40,000+!
Heart of the Game, Inc., (HOTG), held its biggest fundraiser of the year at the Palmer Course at The PGA National Resort on May 2, 2024, and raised more than $40,000, which will allow HOTG to donate a significant number of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and provide cardiac emergency response training to youth sports organizations around the state of Florida.

Held on a spectacular spring day, 19 4-player teams participated, with the Top 3 foursomes taking home Gift Cards from PGA National ($100 for 1st, $75 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd):

One of the tourney highlights was the “Closest to the Hole” competition. Players had the opportunity to “shoot” with a Golf Ball Cannon, courtesy of Shawn LaRusso from Florida Charity Golf Events.
Heart of the Game Golfers started the day with a continental breakfast, and were also treated to a Mediterranean-style lunch that included chicken, fish, and rice dishes. In addition to meals, golfers also received “swag” bags courtesy of HOTG and tourney sponsors that included:
