GOLDLAW is proud to be a sponsor of the 47th Annual Heritage Gala, which will take place Friday, September 20, from 7:00pm – 11:00pm at the Hilton Palm Beach Airport International Ballroom in West Palm Beach. And firm litigator, and Board-Certified Civil Trial Lawyer® Rafael Roca couldn’t be prouder.
“This weekend, the Hispanic Human Resources Council will celebrate 47 years serving generations of families in Palm Beach County,” said Roca. “The Hispanic Human Resources Council is one of the longest standing Hispanic not-for-profit agencies in the state of Florida.
Attendees will include community and elected leaders from throughout Palm Beach County, as well as longtime supporters of HHRC’s mission.
The Gala will feature a Cocktail Reception & Silent Auction starting at 7:00pm, with dinner and dancing to follow from 8:00pm – 11:00pm.
“I am extremely proud to have been associated with this program for over 30 years, while serving on their Board of Directors”, said Roca. “I am currently serving a second term as Chairman of the Board, a post which I held many years previously. I’m extremely proud of the support that our agency provides to the Hispanic community and the community at large.”
The event is being held as a part of the celebrations for Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 to October 18). Palm Beach County honors the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans throughout the United States, but especially in West Palm Beach and Palm beach County. The large and robust Hispanic community is one of the county’s greatest strengths.
“The mission of HHRC is to serve the diverse Hispanic and immigrant community of Palm Beach County,” said Roca. “We help to strengthen and empower families by providing social and education services in a safe environment. Our two child development centers, New Pines and Luciano Martinez, provide high quality, bilingual education to young children aged 1 to 4, all the while changing the lives of families by providing them with the resources, support, and services they need to thrive.”
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are still available for the event. If you are interested, please check out the Gala’s website.
About the Hispanic Human Resources Council
Established in 1977, the Hispanic Human Resources Council (HHRC) is a nonprofit formed to address the needs of the community; advance cultural awareness and understanding of diversity for low-income, underserved minority groups; and improve the community’s quality of life through its social, educational, and economic development program. Today, its main mission is to strengthen and empower young children aged 1 to 4 years and their families through quality educational services and resources that promote healthy, thriving communities.
HHRC operates two Child Development Centers, SERVING ALMOST 300 CHILDREN. Both centers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and provide quality bilingual education, nutrition, and childcare for children at risk.
