Legacy: Craig Goldenfarb’s Mother – 1960
To fully appreciate GOLDLAW’s history, you have to go back to the 1960s, when Craig Goldenfarb’s mother, Sondra Goldenfarb, a graduate of Harvard Law, becomes the first female adjunct professor, teaching under professor and famous American criminal and civil liberties attorney, Alan Dershowitz.
Education: Craig Graduates with his Law Degree – 1995
Inspired by his mother’s gifts in the courtroom, Craig chooses to pursue a career in law, and graduates from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Craig meets his wife at UF and moves to Miami to take his first job as a Plaintiff’s lawyer practicing personal injury.
Entrepreneurship: Craig Opens his Law Firm – 2002
After a few years as a litigator at a large plaintiff’s personal injury law firm in Miami, Craig opens his own personal injury firm. Before starting GOLDLAW in 2002, Mr. Goldenfarb had gained extensive jury trial experience with cases involving serious motor vehicle injuries, slip and falls, and nursing home abuse.
Growth: Craig’s Firm Gains Notoriety – 2007
After only a few short years, Mr. Goldenfarb expanded his practice and opened his office on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach. During that time, his firm handled a couple of large cases and by the end of 2007, GOLDLAW had ten employees.
Operations: Building a Work Culture – 2012
Craig realizes that the most important elements of a successful law practice are creating an excellent client experience and empowering employees to love their job, and love coming to work to serve their clients. With the hiring of the first few marketing, administration, and client relations managers, GOLDLAW would set itself on a path to prosperity that would generate greater client satisfaction, and genuine engagement from a happy and diverse staff.
Flexibility: Personal Injury Response Unit – 2018
In an effort to better serve clients that are not able to make it into the office due to injury, the firm rolled out the first Personal Injury Response Unit (P.I.R.U). The P.I.R.U. is a vehicle wrapped with a custom design, promoting the firm’s brand as a marketing tool. In addition to meeting clients to sign them up, the vehicle is used for a variety of community events, and office tasks while helping to build recognition wherever it goes.
Infrastructure: Remote Work and Cloud Based Operations – 2019
Data security, remote access, and redundancy was made a top priority for the firm moving into 2019. We wanted to enhance our service by optimizing how we collect, store, protect, and report relevant case information. This included moving a significant portion of our data to a cloud-based infrastructure that could be readily accessed from anywhere. Fortunately, our foresight was justified during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our staff were able to social distance and work remotely without hindering any cases because of the policies we implemented a year earlier.
Expansion: New Office in Port Saint Lucie – 2020
18 years after opening in 2002, GOLDLAW launched a new satellite office in Port St. Lucie to better serve local clientele, and those in the greater Treasure Coast region including Stuart, Palm Bay, Okeechobee, Vero Beach, and Fort Pierce. To comply with best practices issued by the CDC due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the firm also decided to offer a voluntary remote work program for the main office team.
Commitment: Quality Service and Happy Employees – PRESENT
GOLDLAW is among the most recognizable personal injury practices in Palm Beach, St. Lucie and Martin Counties. First and foremost, we prioritize our clients, who come from all walks of life, and from all over the state of Florida. We are proud to have initiatives in the workplace that help our employees grow personally and professionally.
